Seven family and friends ran the Market Drayton 10K today (Sunday 12th May) to raise funds for Asthma UK, in memory of Sarah - Francessca Lee-Overy, Nick Edwards, Rachel Clarke, Andy Bayley, Simon Lee-Overy, Stu Davies and Gary Williams - Team Pink! Supported by many other family members and friends. The runners did exceptionally well, especially considering for some, it was their first attempt at running this distance. The event was rounded off by a BBQ hosted by Helen Courtney & Francessca Lee-Overy, to celebrate the achievement. A raffle and 'Guess the number of sweets in the jar' raised an additional £144 to add to the donations and sponsorships. Well done everyone, a sterling performance. Sarah would be so proud of everyone who took part and supported the event.
